1―スポーツ嫌い半減目標

今年3月にスポーツ庁が「第2期スポーツ基本計画」で、スポーツ嫌いの中学生を半減するという目標を掲げたところ、反発の声が上がっているという。

スポーツ庁が2016年度に行った調査によると、運動やスポーツが嫌い、やや嫌いとする中学生は16.4%で、これを5年で半減させようという目標を盛り込んだ。理系教育でも、数学嫌いや理科嫌いが多いことが指摘され、理工系離れで日本の製造業が衰退してしまうのではということが問題化したことがある。また英語教育でも、学年が進むにつれて嫌いになる生徒の割合が高まるという問題があるようだ。

誰でも得意なものは楽しく好きになりやすいが、苦手なものは楽しくないし好きにはなれない。どこかでつまずいたり、何かの拍子に苦手意識を持ったりするようになり、楽しくないから敬遠するようになり、ますます苦手になっていくという悪循環に陥る。ここで苦手なものができてしまわないようにという親心から無理にやらせても、さらにいやな経験が積み重なって、ますます嫌いになってしまうだけだろう。インターネットに、「余計なお世話」と書き込んだ人たちの気持ちも良く理解できる。続きを読む

The Sports Agency said that in March this year, the Sports Agency set the goal of halving junior high school students who dislike sports in the “Second Phase Sports Basic Plan”, the repulsion voice is raising.

Anyone who is good at it is easy and fun to like but difficult things are not fun and can not be liked. It falls into a vicious circle that it stumble somewhere, become conscious of being somewhat difficult to beat some sort of rhythm, become shunned because they are not fun, and become increasingly weak. Even if you try to forcibly do something weak here is not done, even more unpleasant experiences will accumulate and it will only become dislike more and more. You can understand the feelings of those who wrote “Internet extra care” on the Internet well.
